1. About these terms
These terms apply to all quotes, bookings and work carried out by Roots and Lawns Gardening Services(Irvine, Ayrshire). By accepting a quote or booking work with us you agree to these terms.
2. Quotes & pricing
All quotes are free, written and valid for 30 days. Prices are fixed once accepted in writing, unless the scope of work changes — in which case we'll agree any variation with you before proceeding.
3. Bookings & access
You agree to provide safe and reasonable access to the work area on the agreed date(s), including access to water and power where required. We'll confirm the day before and notify you of any delays.
4. Payment
Maintenance visits are payable on the day. Larger projects may require a materials deposit up front (agreed in writing). The balance is due on completion. We accept bank transfer and major card payments.
5. Workmanship guarantee
Our workmanship is guaranteed for 12 months from completion. If anything isn't right, contact us and we'll come back and put it right at no extra cost. The guarantee excludes damage caused by weather, third parties or lack of aftercare.
6. Cancellations
Please give at least 48 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule a visit. Late cancellations may incur a £40 call-out fee to cover lost slot time.
7. Insurance & liability
We are fully insured to £2,000,000 public liability. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the value of the work carried out. We are not liable for pre-existing damage, underground services not marked, or issues outside our reasonable control.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Scotland. Any disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Scottish courts.
