A skip means a permit if it's on the road, a driveway you can't use for a week, and a price that doesn't include filling it. Our man-and-van clearance service loads the waste, sweeps up after itself, gives you a registered carrier certificate and is usually finished within 90 minutes.

We cover garden waste (cuttings, branches, turf, soil), shed and garage clearances, full house and end-of-tenancy clearances, builder's waste, single-item bulky disposals (mattresses, sofas, fridges) and full garden strip-outs.

The legal bit matters: fly-tipping fines for unlicensed disposal start at £400 and can rise to £50,000 with a criminal record — and if the waste is traced back to you, you're liable even if you paid someone else to take it. We're SEPA-registered and you get the paperwork with every job.

Most clearance jobs are straightforward, but a few categories need separate handling. Here's the full picture.

Garden waste clearances

Grass clippings, hedge trimmings, branches, leaves, old turf, soil and rubble. Volume-based pricing — typical small garden clearance £80-£140, full overgrown garden strip-out £250-£500.

Shed, garage & loft clearances

Full contents cleared — old tools, paint, garden machinery, broken furniture, boxes of who-knows-what. We sort on the van so anything recyclable goes the right way.

House & end-of-tenancy clearances

Single rooms to full property clearances, including white goods, soft furnishings, soft toys, kitchenware and electricals. Photo quote service for landlords and letting agents.

Single-item bulky disposal

Sofas (£40-£60), mattresses (£30 each), fridges and freezers (£40-£55, includes degassing routing), washing machines, dishwashers. Cheaper and faster than the council bulky uplift waiting list.

Builder's & DIY waste

Plasterboard, ceramics, off-cuts, packaging. Plasterboard is segregated separately (it's banned from landfill under WEEE rules) and routed to a licensed gypsum recycler.

What we won't take

Asbestos (needs licensed asbestos removal — we'll recommend a specialist), live or unstable chemicals, clinical waste, and tyres (these need a separate tyre-disposal route). We'll always be upfront if your job needs a specialist.
